COVID-19 Safety

How we are keeping staff and customers safe

The safety of our customers and staff is our utmost priority so there have been some changes at the Blackbird to make sure we are doing all that we can to abide by current Government guidance.

We currently have adapted to the additional restrictions imposed upon the North East which are now as follows:

When visiting to drink or dine inside the following REGULATIONS apply

  • Each party/table must be from no more than one household or support bubble
  • Food and drink must be ordered from and consumed at a table
  • The party must register their details for Test and Trace
  • Face masks must be worn when you are not sitting at your table

When drinking or dining outside the rule of six applies. In addition, the GUIDANCE/ADVICE from the Government is that the table should not contain more than one household.

Additionally, the following REGULATIONS also apply

  • Food and drink must be ordered from and consumed at a table
  • The party must register their details for Track and Trace

We will continue to review our policies in line with changes from the Government and are working hard to keep all safe. Additional measures include:-

  • Regularly sanitising tables between bookings
  • We have a number of sanitisation stations for customer use, along with sensor taps and soap dispensers in our toilets to minimise surface contact

Indoor dining and the tipi may be booked in advance but there is no booking required for sitting outside.
